Supporting Employee
Mental Health
Illness, loss, family emergencies, and other hard seasons don’t stay at home. Participants learn how to respond with care, what support is appropriate, how to connect employees to resources, and where a manager’s role ends, so they can help without overstepping.

What Managers Can and Can't Do
Why it matters
Managers are often the first to notice when someone is struggling, and many freeze because they're afraid of saying the wrong thing or crossing a line. Others try to help so much that they take on a counselor's role they aren't trained for. This training gives managers a clear, caring middle path: notice, check in, listen, connect to resources, and keep the work moving with flexibility where it's possible. The focus is support and awareness, not diagnosis or treatment.
