Stress and past experiences shape how people show up at work, often in ways no one sees. Participants learn how trauma affects individuals and teams, and how to build safety, trustworthiness, choice, and collaboration into everyday leadership practices.
Why it matters
Every team carries experiences its leader can't see: loss, illness, past workplace harm, community stress, and seasons of survival. When leaders don't understand how that shows up, they can mistake a stress response for a bad attitude and make things worse without meaning to. Trauma-informed leadership isn't therapy and it isn't softness. It's a practical way of leading that lowers the threat in everyday interactions so people can think clearly, speak up, and do their best work.
